To our most valued customers,
It has not been business as usual here at MC Headquarters. We have been considering many things since the global pandemic has erupted, both personally and professionally. We are proud to be a family owned, Australian made brand. Right now it means more than ever.
We have always focused on an ethical approach to doing business, it’s part of the Manning Cartell DNA. It’s built on the foundation of what we as sisters had instilled in us growing up in the Manning family, to be kind to one another and to encourage others to explore what inspires them.
So now, to approach things differently, to reduce waste and make what we present to you more relevant, we will no longer be following the fashion calendar. We will instead be showcasing inspiring pieces to you at a time that is relevant to our weather patterns. As an example, right now the temperatures are dropping throughout most regions in Australia, so we will be presenting you with pieces that you can work into your wardrobe for the cooler months ahead. In the past, following the fashion calendar, those pieces would typically be showcased in the summer months.
Although this pandemic has been destructive and affected so many of our lives, we would like to focus on the positive that will come from this. We are hopeful that this will create the change that has been required in our industry for such a long time, to reduce the waste and speed of fashion. We are excited for what the future holds, and excited to be reopening our stores , to reconnect with you, our valued customers.
As always, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
